Mr. Cleary is the son of Irish immigrants and a first

generation American.  His father and mother came to

this country in 1959 moving to San Diego in the Navy.

After graduating form the Bishop's School in La Jolla,

Califronia, Mr. Cleary attended Tulane University

receiving his Bachelor's degree in 1989 in Political

Science.  Mr. Cleary went on to attend Tulane

University Law School graduating in 1992.  He returned

to California and focused his practice to the defense

of those accused of criminal conduct. Mr. Cleary is a

member of the Califiornia Attorneys for Criminal

Justice, the National Association of Criminal Defense

Lawyers, the Graeter San Diego Business Association

and a Board Member of the Tom Homann Law Association, San Diego's Gay and Lesbian Bar Association.
